OUR INAUGURAL EVENT
On the 5th of June 2013 The Silver-lined Heart held a drinks and canapes reception on the terrace of the House of Commons.
The terrace has one of the most beautiful views of the river Thames and there is no better setting for a reception. Now Grade I listed, and part of an UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Palace contains a fascinating mixture of both ancient and modern buildings.
We raised £10,000 for a coronary simulator.
We want to thank Sir Malcolm Rifkind for making this event possible
and all our generous sponsors for showing their commitment
to making our aims closer to reality.
We are especially grateful to Earl Cowley and Lady Cowley for all
their help and support.
A huge Thank You for a very generous legacy left by the Estate of the Late Lady Baillie.
