The Silver-lined Heart (“The Silver-lined Heart,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) privacy policy is to ensure that we care how the information you provide to us is used and shared. This Privacy Policy applies to our information collection and use practices: (1) online when you visit our website, (the “Website”); and (2) offline when you provide information to us.

 

Capitalised terms not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning outlined in our Terms of Service.

We intend not to collect personal information from the Website Visitors automatically when they use the Website unless they agree to provide such information voluntarily, e.g. by registering, emailing, or signing up for a newsletter.

Specific information about yourself that you voluntarily agree to share with us, e.g., via surveys and/or questionnaires, such as household income range, gender, product and service preferences, and other information that does not identify you personally.

 

4b. From Your Activity
This is the Information we collect automatically when you use the Website, including, but not limited to:

mobile's hard drive. This is to “remember” information about a previous visit. We may use both session cookies that expire after closing your web browser, and persistent cookies that stay on the computer until you delete them. This is to help us collect Other Information and to improve your experience using the Website. If you do not wish us to include cookies on your hard drive, you may decide to turn that feature off both on your computer or your mobile device. IP addresses, which may consist of both a static or dynamic IP address and may point to a certain identifiable computer or other device; browser type and language; referring and exit pages and URLs; date and time; specific amount of time spent on certain pages; particular sections of the Websites you visit; Information about the device you are using, including the type of device; universally unique ID (“UUID”); advertising identifier (“IDFA”); MAC address; details about your device's operating system and version; carrier and country location; hardware and processor information including storage, chip speed, camera resolution, NFC-enabled; network type (WiFi, 3G, 4G, LTE); and other similar data.

 

4d. Third-Party Analytics
We use third-party analytics services e.g. Google Analytics to assess your use of the Website, assemble reports on activity, collect demographic data, analyse performance metrics, and collect other relevant information related to the Website usage, mobile device usage and Internet usage. These third parties use cookies and similar technologies to help analyse and provide us the data. You accept and agree that by accessing and using the Website, your data will be processed by these analytics providers for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

Please, be aware that we may choose to share Other Information about your activity on the Website with third parties for the purpose of managing, analysing, reporting, and optimising advertising both on the Website and elsewhere. These third parties may also use cookies, pixel tags also called web beacons or clear gifs, and/or other technologies aiming to collect Other Information for such purposes. If you have registered for the Website, you may access, review, and make any changes to all your Personal Information, Billing Information, and Other Information by following the instructions stated on the Website. You may also manage your subscription, by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of any email received from The Silver-lined Heart and The Grace School. You cannot opt out from receiving transactional emails related to your account or your Orders. We will endeavour to process such requests promptly. Please, be aware, however, that it may not be possible to modify information or to remove it completely from our subscription databases.

 

SECTION 5: Using and Sharing the Information

We use the "Infomation" that includes the Personal Information, the Order Information, the Billing Information, and the Other Information to provide our services; to process Orders; to administer our rewards and promotional programmes; to maintain and improve our Website and services; to request feedback; and to inform about products and services of ours and our third-party marketing partners.

 

We may also use and/or share Information as described below.

The Silver-lined Heart will access, use, and share the Information as required to process your Orders and provide support.

Please, be aware that we may share the Information excluding the Billing Information with our third-party promotional and marketing partners, including but not limited to our businesses participants in our various programmes in order to provide our services and administer our rewards and promotional programmes.

We use standard Open Authorisation (the "OAuth") to enable you to give permission to share your Personal Information with other websites and services, e.g., social media. We also use OAuth to share information about you that we store without sharing your security credentials.
We may choose to employ other individuals and companies to perform functions on our behalf, e.g., providing technical assistance, processing orders, providing customer service, and marketing assistance. All other individuals and companies will only have access to the Information necessary to fulfil their function and to the extent permitted by law.


We may analyse the Order Information and Other Information in aggregate form to maintain, manage, operate and improve the Website and/or our products and services. This is due to our effort to better understand our visitors, customers, and our products and services, 

 

The aggregate information does not identify you personally. We may share this aggregate data with our affiliates, agents, and business partners. We may also decide to disclose aggregated user statistics to describe our products and services to both current and prospective business partners, and to chosen third parties for lawful purposes.

Please be aware that whenever you voluntarily choose to make your Personal Information available to third parties e.g., on message boards, web logs; via emails; webinars, classes, phone conferences, coaching calls; in comment or chat areas, all that information can be collected, heard, seen and/or used by third-parties. We are not responsible for any unauthorised third-party use of such information.

We endeavour to protect the Information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, we cannot guarantee that the Information that you supply will not be intercepted during transmission to and from us over the Internet. Please make sure that you take care in deciding what information you send to us via email as e-mails sent to or from the Website may not be secure.

The Website and its server are operated in the United Kingdom. Please be aware that if you are located outside of the United Kingdom, any Information that you provide to us will be automatically transferred to the United Kingdom. Please note that we do not purposely collect Personal Information from children under the age of 16 via the Websites. If you are under the age of 16, please do not give us any Personal Information. It is out intention to encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage on a regular basis and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children never to provide Personal Information through the Website without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 16 has shared Personal Information with us, please write to us, and we will endeavour to delete that information from our databases.
